David Jacobs, in addition to being probably the most expensive doctor in Washington, is also arrogant beyond belief and insulting too. Among other things, he bizarrely accused me of reselling prescription drugs he'd prescribed and threatened to fire me as a patient unless I agreed (at $400-$600 a pop minimum, not covered by normal insurance) to have routine check ups every other month (I am in perfect health). Avoid this charlatan at all costs. My only question is why I didn't leave him sooner. If anything good can be said about him, it's that the actual care you get will be good -- but the abuse just makes it not worth the trouble.
