We've been to Mexico several times and there doesn't seem to be a lot of Mexican Restaurants in this area that have what I would call Authentic Mexican Food. El Amigo is as close as we've found! I don't think there is anything on the menu that we've tried that we didn't like. Burritos, Tacos, Tortas, Enchiladas, Chimichangas, Tamales, etc....they have all been good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is busy. Several booths and a couple of tables and a small counter with stools. This place does A LOT of take out business and that's usually how we do our orders, too. Just call ahead, place your order and it's ready when you get there. The food is not expensive. They have a cooler inside that has glass bottle pepsi's and coke's available (I've stopped in several times just to buy a soda as it always tastes better in glass bottles than cans or plastic bottles). They have great hours, too! Open til 2:00 AM!!!
