i don't get that about thai beer- why do the flavors seem so chinese? where's the lemongrass? the ginger? the spices? every dish i tried there (and i'm not a timid eater) tasted like it was watered down thai, at best.
the pad thai is disappointing, and the curries are sad sad things. the broccoli beef was decent, but then again, broccoli beef is more a chinese dish than it would be a thai dish.
go to thai beer if you're not sure if you're in the mood for thai or for chinese, but you know you're leaning more toward chinese....
