The Melting Pot is one of the best "special occasion" restaurants I have ever been to. It is our only destination if we have something to celebrate. The staff is always very pleasent and helpful. They spend a lot of time at your table preparing your fondue, so we you really get to talk with them a lot. The cheese fondue is amazing and really kicks off your meal. So don't skip this part. We love the variety of sauces and dips that come with the main dish, they really make the meal. And who could pass up chocolate? You can even create your own chocolate fondue! YUM! We always share the main course so that we can enjoy all the other courses. My husband is a big eater, but we still have enough sharing the main course!
