--Whatever the case, I made it down to the Tenderloin again and had to continue my quest for curry. The first object of my desire was Bobay house, which knocked my socks off. So the standards were high, but I heard good things about Taste of India and read here. It was on. I happened to be here between lunch and dinner, so it wasn't too packed (I was almost worried it would be closed and called beforehand, but they were good to go). So their menus are basically all aauthentic Indian cuisine newspapers, with their tasty food the story of the day. I went with my standard: Curry Rogan Josh chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, kheer and mango lassi. Plus i also tried new veggie saag paneer.. Now i can say this is the best Indian food in the city. I think I would recoend to have a plate of Saag Paneer in front of me, and I'm not even a vegetarian. What's nuts is how cheap it is - you can get the tandoori chicken and naan for like five bucks and I swear it will fill you up. I would marry one of those guys if they cooked like that at home...if they would have me. Anyway, Taste of India rules. You better go ..don't try just enjoy............you will love it... more
