The Dunedin Historical Society and Museum makes for a great Saturday afternoon activity. The museum Director, Vinnie Luisi, has actively encouraged museum-led programs around the community, including the Pinellas Vintage Base Ball League, summer camps for children, the historical landmark Andrews Memorial Chapel, and living history programs. He has written several books as well.
The Dunedin museum also changes exhibits frequently. At the time of this review, they have had Florida space, sailing, and alligator/seminole exhibits in the past several months. Their exhibits are fun and rich with information. Even the old train station building in which the museum functions is an integral part of Dunedin's long history as one of the first established cities in Florida. Go see it for yourself!
