Although I am against the building of the new proposed Marketplace Mall, I really must say that the Newburgh Mall leaves a lot to be desired. Bon Ton and Sears make up decent anchor stores, but there are no less than 4 or 5 "sneaker" stores in this mall. Really, how many sneakers can people buy?? There is nowhere to buy boys clothes, other than very small depts. in both of the anchor stores. Many of the stores are very nice, such as Card Carousel, Payless, CVS, Bath and Body, etc. but the mall can be a very difficult place to take young children after a certain time of the day. Hopefully, some nicer stores will be attracted to this mall.
