I've been having great luck finding fun fall pieces at my local JC Penny. I recently picked up two fun pairs of earrings. They are always running sales as well, so if you find something you like and it's not on sale, check back in a week or so.
For this specific location, I like to park on the far west side of Fashion Valley and avoid the parking garages. It's worth noting that check out can be a bit slow at this location.
