Bay Area to the rescue 5/31/2006

What a time for central air unit to die! In Florida and at the end of May. That is what happened to us this week. Memorial Day weekend was warm and humid. The air unit froze up and quit working. We knew it was not a new unit, but hoped for some more good years out of it. Alas, the time came for replacing. Bay Area Air Conditioning and Heating in Crystal River, Florida is known in our town as "Best of the Best" award winners. The top builder in our county uses these guys. They exclusively install Carrier. I couldn't have been happier with the service on the phone with "Miss Schedule you an Appointment" or the serviceman. Polite and clean in appearance which is refreshing after the last experience with a pool guy. (I should write about that one). Their prices were comparable if you are comparing apples with apples. The SEER number is important. Note that Air Conditioning Units have a government minimum standard of 13. This is an efficiency rating. Also, Bay Area has a huge parking lot that many youth groups like scouts and school bands use for car washes. It's on of those circle drive parking lots that work well like a conveyor-belt for washing cars. So two thumbs up for Bay Area who are also community minded. more
