This store is jam-packed with wild clothing and accessories from the past. I'm talking about plaid patterns, feather boas, pink maude wigs and deliciously gaudy (and sometimes surprisingly classy) jewelery and 80s bracelets.
Studded purses for gals, yellow cords for guys. At Flashbacks, you'll find everything you need if you're prepping for a wild shindig or costume party or even if you're uniquely rebellious and have a carefree fashion sensibility.
Walking down 5th Avenue, the snazzy, bright window displays will catch your attention and draw you into the store. The staff is friendly and the store is intimate with a funky layout. Newly remodeled too-- which is sort of an oxymoron when it comes to a vintage clothing store.
Since the product is very unique, the prices tend to be on the not-so uniquely high end. But if you find something rare and one-of-a-kind...shelling out the extra cash will be well-worth it.
