I went to visit Bidwell Training center for its horticulture program. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the greenhouse, all acrylic, and the state of the art heating system they had in place. Another interesting aspect of this place are the hydroponic tomatoes that they grow. I tasted 2 types and they tasted like they were grown from my garden. If you are interested in this training program, it is free of charge provided certain criteria are met. You can get a horticulture certificate in 6 months. Their specialty is orchids and they are absolutely gorgeous!
