I went to Micro Center for the first time a few days ago. It will definitely be my last.
How have they survived over the years? This is mind boggling to me. There wasn't a thing I liked about this place. I was in a bad mood to start with because the traffic in their area is horrible. And I went there at 2 in the afternoon. When I walked in, I asked on of the cashiers where the computers were and was told "Can't you see I'm busy?" I finally found the computer section and couldn't believe how high their prices were. What few salesman they had were busy with other customers, who actually seemed interested in making purchases. In a city where Rahm Emanuel will likely become mayor, I shouldn't be surprised. I bet anywhere else in the country people would be smart enough to stay away.
Micro Center is a must to avoid.
