I had the floors in my family room replaced with new hardwood floors by White Oak Floors. The quality of the new floors is terrific. The owner of White Oak floors offered to do 3/4 inch hardwood for the same price as 1/2 inch - and the color that they stained the floors was very nice.
However, the installers did a copule of small mistakes including gashing my fairly new kitchen floor. Getting them to come back out and fix their mistakes took 4 or 5 phone calls and then finally threats to call the better business bureau. However, when they finally did come back - they finished the job nicely. Too bad they were not so responsive originally.
