Ellinwood is an average public course in a nice setting and the greens fees are reasonable. The back nine is a little more challenging than the front nine. The course had it's share of dead patches in the middle of the summer, plus a few spots that tend to hold water and just be muddy. For the price you pay I believe you get value. If you're used to playing Shaker Hills or Red Tail then you'll be disappointed, but if your used to less fancy public courses then this is a good place to check out.
