Good: If you like good food and lots of it, Spring Garden Cafe is the place for you. The first time I ordered the Skirt Steak and Eggs breakfast, not only was the steak tasty and tender, it actually hangs over the side of the plate! plus the meal comes with 3 eggs, but instead I was served 4, so I definitely felt like I received a bonus. I discovered later after many return visits that it's "standard operating procedure" at Spring Garden to serve 4 eggs instead of 3 even though that's what it says on the menu.. Other: So that being the case, it's indicative of all menu items at Spring Garden Cafe; Abundant! The portion sizes are exceptional. Good to know if you're looking for a great value in a Family restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Taste-wise, delish plus the wait staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I actually go out of my way to dine there when I'm in the Chicago western suburbs. Great find!.
