The parks that comprise the Fort Wayne parks and recreation offer fishing, hiking, and canoeing. During the school year, the park staff offers great programs for school-age children. Check calendars for weekend and summer programs. Home schoolers can join the programs during the school year. Call for information. The parks also have a pleasant picnic ground and playground areas.
