IHOP is an American classic. They have the one room serving area and booths with a tiny window divider between the two rows of booths. I prefer a window booth. The wait staff is good. They wear the IHOP outfit and fit right in with the décor of the restaurant. My favorite in the place is the cook. He (or she) wears a modified chef's hat with the IHOP logo on the front. Quite quaint! IHOP has pancakes. It is their thing. The thing they do best. No need to order the pancakes covered with extra sugar features; the simple plain pancakes and French toast are the best. Coffee comes in a pot on your individual table. Good coffee and plenty of it!
