I eat here all the time and while I have not tried everything; everything I tried was good. This place is famous for its chicken fried steaks and real made from scratch burgers. You can't go wrong with the fried catfish, shrimp, or crab balls. The red beans or great as is the chicken and sausage jambalaya. They have a full bar with very reasonable pricing. If you go in just for drinks they have some nice appetizers too such as sausage stuffed jalapenos, boudan balls, and fried alligator. This is my favorite downtown restaurant.
