I took my new Corvette for a basic car wash and Sparkle Car Wash and Detail took my money and wanted more. I paid for the basic exterior wash and didn't receive back a car that had received the basic wash.
I paid The $12 and looked out the window a few minutes later and saw my car sitting with keys in it and door open. I went out and asked one of the few workers who spoke some English if my car was finished. She said it was, I walked over to my car, stood for a few moments, no came to check the receipt so I looked in and saw that interior was whipped down and windows clean so I drove off. When I arrived home the car was dry and I saw that chrome wheels were dirty. Thinking it was a mistake, I returned the next morning and showed them the wheels and they blamed me for not paying an extra $3 for "wheel dressing" and they refused to clean the rims at the car wash. In the words of today's youth, WTF!!!!!!!
The only thing I say about this is that the owners are Asian, appear to be Korean, and that they must believe that they rip us off because we American are so soft that don't have the guts or attitude to stand up to their rip offs. The shame is, they're right! I'm a reasonable middle aged white male but this was just wrong. If the exterior of the car isn't clean, then clean it and don't cause me to have go back and then make a scene over a stupid car wash because the basic contract was fullfilled. It was embarassing for me to have to argue, but I think the right thing to do.
Just don't there, find another car wash even if you have to drive out of your way.
