this museum started from the private collection of a family and grew. they charge only a tiny admission fee. since i homeschool, we got in free. it is an amazing place of all things cowboy, country, and art. there are many native american pieces there also complete with a large totem pole. early farm machinery is displayed out back. it is an eye opener for children who think corn and beef come from the grocery store and never knew about farming or the cowboy life.
