this shelter for large animals like horses, mules, donkeys, and such is a non profit place. they find mistreated horses from the sheriff or police, then a court order is served to take the animals away, and house them here where they get vet care, love, and food. some people believe horses can live off the land. then they don't feed them. this is untrue. they take lots of food and care. they get it here. they always need money, food, blankets, large towels, and our support.
