My husband and I went to Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede when we were in Branson recently. They serve you food that you eat with your hands- chicken, cream soup, roll, corn on the cob. It was delicious and filling. The servers were very efficient at delivering the food and drinks and clearing the dishes.
We went in October and they were already doing their Christmas show. It was beautiful and amazing and wonderful. They get you in the spirit by cheering for your side- North or South. But for the Christmas show, it was North Pole vs. South Pole.
There is also a pre-show by a juggler that is also great.
It is better than it sounds!
We were able to get our tickets for free but they are quite expensive. Plus they try to sell you souvenirs and you are expected to tip your waiter. So plan for an expensive evening.
