My parents always bought major appliances and electronics from hhgregg. I never knew why until just recently when I started getting stuff for my first home. There's something "adult-ish" about talking and negotiating with a salesperson and then having an appliance delivered. It's a very grown-up thing to do and left me with very, very little buyer's remorse.
Thing is, my brand new washer's fancy pants control panel stopped working after about 7 months and I just had to take it in over the holidays. Warranty through hhgregg swapped me out. Amazing. It was like taking something to the Apple store. Great service.
