Long story short, I spent the ENTIRE day yesterday waiting for the Sears repair man to show up at my door step, diagnose the problem and tell me that he was going to have to charge me more than double what the estimate I got over the phone was...at that point I just wanted my dryer fixed so I told him that was fine and to fix it...problem number two with Sears...they told me that the parts were 7-10 business days out.
I then called David with Appliance Express.he said he could have somebody come out next day and fix my dryer between 1:00 and 3:00pm. the tech arrived on time, fixed my dryer (as I was talking his ear off about football) and charged me $155 LESS THAN THE SEARS REPAIR MAN!!! At the end of the project ran out to his van got a broom and cleaned up after himself.
