Makris is a landmark in the Concord area and has become known as the place to go for seafood in this central NH area. The quality and quantity of the menu offerings are above average; the clam chowder is a MUST. Past problems of a loud attached bar seem to be overcome and my last few dining experiences here have been much more peaceful. If in doubt, order the haddock; it is always good. Save room for the desert offerings. The overall experience of late has been diminished by less than attentive, qualified wait staff. Seems that the service has dropped off somewhat. This latter item keeps them from being great.
