This Sonic is unique in that during the summer they do their carhopping on roller skates. I didn't notice it so much this past summer and I guess they have the option to skate or not. They've got a few servers who do not need to be there. They are obviously not happy with their job and its obvious, but there are a few who are very friendly no matter what time it is. This Sonic is very slow most of the time, even if you only order a drink it can take 10 minutes some times. Their order boards are out of order more than they work and at times their speakers are not working so you've got no idea what they are saying. The best thing about Sonic is their ice bullets. If it is served the way I like it, it is a dry, soft ice that tastes so good. If it has been allowed to refreeze it isn't very good and it is hard. They do sell bags of the good ice. I stop in here on a daily basis to purchase ice on my way to school so I see the daily goings on here. The manager Ron Sexton is not a good manager. In the mornings they have .99 large drinks until 10 am. The other day I went in there at 10:05 and he REFUSED to give it to me for that price. I find it hard to believe that to him it was worth losing a regular customer over .99. I am a daily customer at this Sonic, every morning stopping for ice and a drink. Over a years time this money really adds up but I guess he was more concerned about the extra .50 than he was keeping me a customer. more
