I was a member of Global Fitness for many years and found it to be full of new equipment, some good fitness classes and friendly staff. The only complaint that I would have with Global Fitness is that it was always crowded, no matter the hour, and that would sometimes mean that you might have to wait for equipment. Also, considering that they do not have a pool or tennis court or track, the price was slightly high. However, with their new facility in Fitchburg, perhaps things are not quite as crowded and that would mean that it would be an even better option for fitness in the area.
