The Schiele Museum Of Natural History & Lynn Planetarium is located at 1500 E Garrison Blvd in Gastonia, North Carolina. A resident of Gastonia gets in free, and the pricing for others are quite reasonable. I have gone there several times, and each time I learn a lot of things and see a lot of different things. They have wonderful history of the North Carolina Piedmont Area.
I love the flower trail outside and the buildings and exhibits that depict early pioneers. The laser show at the Planetarium is good, too. I think you will like it. Call them and ask for their hours before you go because I am not sure of them. Hours change each season.
