Berman Museum 4/26/2006

This very small museum is mostly famous for having Hitler's tea service inside. But, I think this is worthy of a visit for anyone wanting a little taste of "once upon a time overseas" here at home. There are many paintings and artifacts inside that were the private collection of the founders (who had such an interesting story and life!). They have a lot of spy gear to be viewed such as a German bent barrel gun, guns that look like keys, pens, flutes, canes, lighters, and et cetera. They, of course, house Hitler's tea service, but they also have Napoleon's grooming set. It's just an interesting place. It's open from 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday, and 1 pm to 5 pm on Sunday. During the summer, it's open on Monday as well. There is an admission fee however. You can look at their website at www.bermanmuseum.org more
