This is not a very big zoo. They seems to be improving though. They just made a big addition last summer and they've added a few more animals earlier this year.
I have two young children, so I like the fact that they have a bunch of programs and special events lined up for kids throughout the year. My spouse takes the kids at least a few times a month and I like to go when I'm not working. Since the zoo is relatively small, we get through it fairly quickly-- something good in the summer months-- and the kids know where all the animals are.
I do recommend the clowns as well. The pony rides are good, too. This gets an A!
