I worked in Truckee at a camp for a month and we would always love going to wild cherries. It is about 2 blocks away from star bucks, but wild cherries offers more variety of drinks and food than star bucks. They offer great breakfasts sandwiches. You can choose to have a bagel or croissant with any breakfast item you want in between. The prices of drinks are better than that of, but the prices of the food is costly. However, anything in Truckee is expensive. The atmosphere is great, you just feel like it is a community at the coffee house. The owner of the store seems super friends and seems to know most of it's loyal customers. They offer, indoor and out door seating and also offer newspapers. It is great place to hang out with friends and also a great place to take the kids to breakfast.
