The Sandia Peak Tramway is the first place I take all my out of town guests. I believe it is still the world's longest tramway. Inn winter you ride the tram up to the top of the mountain and ski down the other side. The views of Albuquerque top are spectacular. There is also a restaurant (high end and expensive with mediocre food) at the top of the tram. Adult admission is around $15.
