After several good experiences at Barnhills, we hit the bottom on 9-7-05. The catfish had been refried so many times it was hard to detect the taste of fish.
The hushpuppies were even worse. The corn meal was gone and all that remained was the greasy crust which was so hard it was not edible. The ribs were fair as was the shrimp. Service was OK, but minimal. This restaurant should have been serving fresh food at 5:50-6:20 p.m. instead of all the attrocious reheated stuff. The restaurant was basically pretty dirty also. They need to make some major improvements in quality.
