This downtown Asheville bar is one of my favorites. For starters, it's one of a few smoke-free bars in town. Also, the food is great. Whether you're looking for bar food or dinner, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for music, they've usually got it after 8; typically it's Celtic music or bluegrass. If you're looking for a quiet meeting place, go earlier.
I'm not a beer drinker, but they serve local brews, and there is always something for everyone. Their house wines and full bar will do the trick for people looking for an alternative.
