Bad: In the summer of 2006 the director spanked a child on the playground in front of several staff. A staff member reported it to the state because all child care workers are mandated reports of abuse and no child care provider can spank a child. The church and some child care teachers protected the Director and said she did nothing wrong!! The staff were told not to take to the state about it. Weeks later she was let go because the state demanded that they follow thier own policies and terminate her!. Improvements: Every employee needs to be held to the same standards!! They have a new director, but the people who protected the old director are still there and I guess they think spanking a child is appropriate. I don't want my child spanked in child care do you?!.
