What do you look for in a cup of coffee? I can't really speak for espresso drinks because I usually only get coffee at cafes. I love Peet's strong and smooth flavor. I quite often experience a burnt aftertaste with Starbucks coffee and will only go here when there are no Peet's around.
This is perhaps the best Peet's cafe in the bay area. I've been to almost all of them but the service and drink consistency at the Vine location is the best. There was one time when I had to wait a bit longer than usual for my drink because the line was so long. Unexpectedly, the barista apologized and gave me 2 cards for free drinks. This was definitely a nice gesture that ensured my repeat visit.
