If you have personal transportation, or a boat of your own, know somebody with a boat... I would recommend using that mode of transportation rather than Cumberland Transportation. They charge so much, and they are the only public source of transportation to the island. It is unreal how much they think that they should charge. They even charge your children, and babies that aren't even 6 months old yet! We didn't go to Cumberland Island because we weren't paying that much! We'll use our family's boat!
