Down an understated ally just a stone's throw away from the over-hyped Boylston and Newbury streets there is a lovely Mexican restaurant called Casa Romero.
Everything about Casa Romero is understated, accept of course for the taste of the food! The decor is rustic and lovely, the service friendly, and the feeling that you found a cultural hidden gem is unescapable.
Dishes with the mole came highly recommended by acquaintances, but the dishes that were cactus based were both healthy and suprisingly delicious as well!
Entrees are reasonably priced- few things cross the $20 mark. If you go, bring some pals and get a pitcher of Sangria--- it is awesome here!
