We recently attended a birthday party and it was great. Not only did they put in bumpers, but they provided ramps to help with guiding the ball. The only thing that was missing was a really light ball. The food was good as well. I also like that they didn't make the little ones rent bowling shoes. I don't mind them for myself, but I wouldn't want to put them on my little one. I also like that we got a decent number of lanes so we only had to share with 2 or 3 others from the party.
