If you are looking for classes in First Aid, CPR, AED (automatic external defibrillator), baby sitting, lifeguard and many other choices, they are a great resource. The instructors are very well trained and most have real life experience serving as nurses and/or EMTs. The fees include books that you can take home with you and skill cards to keep handy for emergencies. This is also a great organization to volunteer with, they will train you and they have a wide variety of programs you can assist with including blood donation, instructing, and disaster preparedness.
