House On the Rock

I had the opportunity while visiting friends and family over Christmas to go to the House on the Rock. I had not been there and it was quite the experience. The house itself, is built on a rock (hence the name) and has so many interesting nooks and crannies to check out. There are a ton of stairs and such so good walking shoes are recommened! I thought the house was kind of neat, but didn't realize that was only half the tour. The other half had rooms and rooms to explore. The highlight of the tour is the carosel. Nothing could prepare me for that breathtaking site! In addition there is a Doll Carasel and many other neat things to see. It is WI number one attraction and truly amazing! more
