I was spoiled by going to the huge Babies R Us in Grand Rapids before this one opened. The Portage Babies R Us isn't as big, but they still offer lots of great items. Their prices are pretty high, compared to Target or Wal Mart. But, it's a great place to go for a wide variety of baby items. I recently registered for my upcoming baby shower and the girl who explained it to me felt she had to read through EVERY paper in the notebook she gave me. It was pretty funny, but also frustrating to have to sit and listen to the whole speel with a 3 year old who just wanted to "get going". But, registering was fun and I found some safety items that I hadn't seen anywhere else.
