Without a doubt, Ynez is one of the finest preschool through 8th grade schools in the Monterey Park area. The teachers there are some of the finest, and the school itself is a great place for learning. It currently offers a GATE program and summer classes, if I recall correctly, which are equally good. It is a public school, therefore there are no costs involved. The summer programs offered are numerous - there probably are a few ones requiring a nominal amount of money, but I do not have experience with those at this school.
