It's not the tallest building, but it has the most stories 9/1/2005

Since opening in 2002 the Bass Apple Valley Branch has been the crown jewel of the 29 libraries in the San Bernardino County system. The first branch built since 1988, the Bass library has all the features of the new generation of libraries. The spacious building has a large children's book area, teen book area, a large audio book section and a good variety of music CDs, and videos on VHS and DVD. Public internet access is available in the main section and the teen section. The branch has access to all the holdings in San Bernardino and Riverside County library systems. This online link is available through dedicated computers at the building and via the internet to anyone with a library card. Books can be ordered through the system and held at the local library. There's preschool story time, and several summer programs. The building has plenty of parking and is open six days a week. It's open late Monday and Tuesday. more
