I'm 100 percent Cajun born in Opelousas who lived in Baton Rouge for decades. I now live in New Mexico, but I know great Cajun food, and Jerry Lee's has some of the best. Not only is their boudin awesome, so is their Cajun sausage--andoille, pork, beef and mixed. Their cracklins are also top notch. I always bring home with me an ice chest full of Jerry Lee's fabulous Cajun food when I visit family in Baton Rouge. My one complaint is that their business hours are not good. They close early, especially on Saturday and are not open on Sunday.
