Recently I had a horrible experience with Yellow Cab. A cab driver employed by Yellow Cab picked me up at the airport in Reno and took me the "round about way" to my destination. I somewhat knew how much the cab fare was going to be, but I ended up being charged $15.00 more than I had estimated the fare to be.
The next day i called Yellow Cab office. . They were apologetic and said they had received several complaints about drivers "gouging" their customers. They explained that if I had the employee number of the cab driver, (which I understand is posted in the taxi) they could investigate further. Unfortunately, I did not have the information so nothing could be done.
I will NEVER use this cab company and I would suggest that if you do use them, WATCH OUT!!
