I have an 8-year-old cat who had a urinary blockage. We'd had experiences with this condition in cats before so we knew what to do when it happened. Unfortunately, Caputo --our vet of choice -- was closed by the time we realized he was sick.
We ended up taking him to 2 different emergency vets and getting quoted an insane amount of money. We had to give in to one of the vets that we waited 3 hours at. We ended up spending an unnecessary $350 to unblock the cat, but he ended up blocking up again 2 days later.
We took our cat to Caputo on Monday and they were prompt, efficient, and very caring. They hospitalized him for 3 days, gave us a 1-month supply of food, supplied the meds, and unblocked him all for around $500. It was quite a difference from the other places we went that quoted us at $1400 for those kind of services.
We've been using Caputo forever and will continue to recommend it. It's clean, reliable, affordable, and the staff is very pleasant!
