We're not members of the First United Methodist Church, but our sons have been going to their PDO (Parent's Day Out) daycare program for three years now.
It's a wonderfully flexible program, where you sign up your child for a M-F, MWF or TR schedule, and then you're only committed to pay for a minimum of two hours' care per day, and it doesn't matter if you use all your hours on one day or spread them out through the week. So if you're looking for a regular "Parent's Day" so you can go to a yoga class or go shopping without the kids or whatever, or if you have a part-time job with regular daytime hours, it's great.
The teachers are very kind and loving, and well-prepared in case of emergencies. It's not at all a "driven" place -- their "curriculum" is all about play, not teaching kids. And it's not "churchy" the way that some church-run daycare programs can be.
