This school trains all ages, but is especially good with kids as young as 4 years old. The owner & head instructor is Charles Korbett Miller. He teaches a form of gung fu with sport jujitsu mixed in, which involves standing forms and sparring and grappling. His bully-proofing program is wonderful and teaches kids how to stand up for themselves and others without getting into fights. The students learn how to carry themselves with confidence, using their voice and words to project strength. My older son has been training there for almost 7 years and is a black belt now, working towards his 2nd degree black belt. The lessons he's learned about self-discipline, focus, goal-setting, perseverance, and respecting others are invaluable.
