I have had a few pleasant experiences there, but I have to say the management team at the Pekin Menards is extremely lacking in both their management skills and their customer service skills. After purchasing a $600.00 playset and getting it home, only to find it was missing 2 vital parts, I called and spoke to the department manager to explain the dilemma. When he said he did not have time to look for the part right now (OK -- they're just busy, maybe?), I asked if someone could call me back once they had a chance to look for it, so I could know if I need to come and get it or what. His response was that he "did not have that luxury to do that, ma'am" I verified that I was actually speaking to the department manager, to which he very snidely replied, "yes, ma'am, you are" This is only one of the poor experiences we have had with management at that store. You may "save big money at Menards", but if you ever have a problem with anything, you're basically on your own.
